Onesies.... I did awhile ago!

4 Years ago today I was married....

in the Logan, Utah temple, it was beautiful weather and we got married in the late afternoon, which made for a. great pictures b. cooler weather! It was a great day and I love him more everyday!!!

Daniel had to work and though it is a 48 hour shift, I get to come on base and see him, so it breaks it up! We are celebrating tomorrow starting at 7:30 am when he gets off work! But I had a busy day so far...

Today I...

~woke up early, went on a walk with my dogs before it got too hot

~came home finished my workout

~let the dogs out back- Sylus caught and killed a squirrel

~sadly grabbed a shovel and removed the squirrel from my yard

~veeted my arms and legs- quick smelly but oh so smooth(it really works)

~made brownies for my VT families

~now have a home phone, the guy came today and installed it

~am going visiting teaching at 6:15

~will visit Daniel with a brownie and homemade card

~ FINISHED OUR ADOPTION PAPERWORK

Next thing is to mail it back to the agency, folks adoting that live in Idaho or Utah or anywhere where the agency is closer than 4 hours away is blessed! Now we need the home study and the approval and we are good to go!! WOOHOO Daniel and I set a goal to have it done by our Anniversary and WE ARE DONE!

more fun + ADOPTION

hey so this is lastnights work, I love doing this it is oh so fun! this last pic is a close up so you can see their little fingers.... ahh
just so everyone knows Daniel and I have contacted an agency and are now getting things together to put in for adoption we are going crazy wanting children in this home. So please if you know anyone at all keep us in mind and spread the word! I'll answer some questions right up front: honestly and openly... Daniel and i have tried for 3+ years to get pregnant and so far no good but before we go through the grueling treatments and all that we are wanting to adopt, whether we adopt our first or third baby we will be adopting even if biological children are in our future we want to start building our family and we did fill out paperwork while still living in Idaho but as the time went on and we moved twice um well the paperwork went missing... ugh but thats okay we will complete it soon and then go from there. Now that we live in North Carolina and don't see us moving in at least 3+ years we are stable(ish) and are ready! These are fun projects to pretty much help my heart! There will be more to come I just ran out of plain onesies.

with daniel healing i dont have a ton to do, but daniel and I bought some paints when we were in Idaho still because I have wanted to get crafty well these are the first ones ive done!

ive also been spending sometime making jewelry and such, ahhh I love it here it's just so peaceful even though I am getting quite stircrazy... daniel is doing much better it was a rough 3 days turns out he was allergic to the pain meds so then we had to battle the crazy itchy skin, today is better than yesterday, and tomorrow better than today!

Rain... PLEASE stay

It's raining and has been off and on all day, I LOVE IT! Sylus hates it because typically it comes with thunder or vice versa, he gets a little scared! It's funny becasue the F-15s don't bother him which are crazy loud but some crashing thunder has him quivering, what a lamb! So it's raining and I am trying this new using my resources thing, so I decided to put a 3 gallon bucket under a drip off the outside of my house, then I would use the water to water my garden and such, well the bucket was full in no more than 40 seconds so I panic, go inside and grad a 30 gallon tub (just curious you know) I put that under the drip/waterfall and it was full in less than 15 minutes, we now have about 50 gallons or less of great water to use. I love it, we love it ,it cuts down on having to use the hose we have been putting off getting a sprinkler.. but just when you think your grass is dying it "rains buckets!"
Also I'll have you know that last week we pulled up the carpet and pad in the T.V room and now we can walk in the door and enjoy the house with out smelling stinky filthy car urine... good cats are fine whatever but sick cats that pee on the carpet.. lets get real folks... ugh!

Finally... RIGHT!!!

these top two are our tv room, yes that is our NEW 37" TV, with lots of mash being watched on it!

our boys are on the porch but it doesn't have a gate so we took off our tv room doors and are using it as a gate! The dogs love it here!!!

our garden, we planted peas, black beans, onions, bell peppers, beets, carrots and potatoes... yum

we went to an air show last weekend we went from 9-12 on Saturday and 12-4 on Sunday this is Sunday after we got double red... ouch my face is now peeling

the blue angels came, it was awesome there were 6 total but the are jets and go crazy fast so the pics didn't turn out

The Geico Skytypers did this WELCOME, there are 5 planes that type in the sky, they did a complete circle in the sky around us it was incredible

lapse of judgement, it rains just when you need it too, we don't have a dryer but I like it this way, it's so domestic and fun to hang clothes

woohoo, our moving truck came and we have a house full of furniture and too many clothes :)

but I guess there is 2 garden seasons here in NC march and august

lets just say our carpets were NASTY when we moved in and this is the first strip from the carpet cleaner, Daniel was a saint cleaning these it took hours
